Summary :- EYE SALVE Part 1 and 2

11 oct 2026

The Spiritual Blindness of Laodicea will be healed when they have eye salve as The LORD said to them.

This writing proves: the spiritual blindness of the last church era (Laodicea) and the divine remedy prescribed in Revelation 3:18—eye salve that enables sight. The blindness is the misunderstanding of God’s identity, specifically that Jesus Christ the Lord is not only the Husband but also the Father—the one true GOD  and there is no other father. The balm of Gilead, mentioned in Jeremiah 46:11, represents the spiritual knowledge and Living Waters needed for healing, which God has revealed to the Gentiles during the Times of Gentiles (the day of the Lord). The Testimony of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit as God’s words, spiritual death in Egypt, and the role of Ishmael’s descendants as witnesses bearing truth to spiritually blind Israel.

The Laodicean Condition: Spiritual Blindness

The Laodicean church believes that she is rich and in need of nothing, yet God declares it is wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked (Revelation 3:17). This blindness is judgment for sin—specifically, the church’s failure to worship Jesus Christ the Lord  as God and Father.

  • The church sought spiritual sustenance from “god the father” who is a newly come up god, rather than from the Husband (Jesus Christ), who is the true source of righteousness, the Holy Spirit, and covering
  • This constitutes spiritual adultery; the church went after other gods, breaking the everlasting covenant
  • Faith, gold tried in fire, and white linen all come from Jesus Christ, yet the church sought them their god  and received nothing
  • The final falling away occurred when the church denied Jesus Christ’s identity and words, as prophesied in Revelation 2-3 and 2 Thessalonians 2

Revelation 3:18 counsels the blind church to obtain three things:

  • Gold tried in fire: means when one is  tested and proven faithful; ( in the hour of trial to try the hearts ) gold is lost when one fails to love Jesus Christ above all
  • White linen: The righteousness that comes only from Jesus Christ the Lord, the Righteous One (1 John 2:1). And the HOLY SPIRIT is the covering. Isa.  30: 1. Laodicea did not go to Him but to their god and received nothing.
  • Eye salve: Spiritual ointment to restore sight and reveal the truth about God’s identity. (the Testimony of CHRIST THE LORD, the knowledge  of Him and not any other ).

Without these, the church cannot see, cannot have righteousness for the new covenant, and cannot be spiritually rich. The church’s poverty is spiritual, not physical—it lacks faith, which is the free gift from the Husband that makes one rich before God (James 2:5).

The Balm of Gilead: What It Is and Where to Find It

Jeremiah 46:10-11 provides the key: on the day of the Lord (the Times of Gentiles), when God takes vengeance on His enemies (the unfaithful wife), He commands the spiritually blind daughter in Egypt to go to Gilead and take balm. Though she uses many medicines, none will cure her—only this balm from Gilead.

Defining the Balm

The Hebrew word for “balm” (tsori) also means salve or medicine. Breaking down the Hebrew letters:

  • Tsade: Hunt, chase, journey, need
  • Resh: Head, authority, first, beginning
  • Yod: Create, arm, hand, work, worship

The balm comes from the Head, the First, the Beginning—all titles of Jesus Christ the Lord. It represents the knowledge, testimony, and Living Waters that flow from Him as the true God and Father.

Gilead: The Mountainous Region to the East

“Gilead” means rocky region or mountainous area. Spiritually, this represents:

  • The Holy Mountain where the Lord of Hosts dwells with His children (Isaiah 8:18)
  • The east gate, from which God’s glory departed (Ezekiel 11:23) and will return (Ezekiel 43)
  • A place of testimony and springs of water—the Hebrew root connects to “witness” and “fountain of Living Waters”

Gilead is east of Jordan, where Ishmael was sent. The Lord comes from the east to build the new temple (Zechariah 6:12-15), and His glory rises from the east (Isaiah 59:19).

The Ishmaelites: Bearers of the Balm

Genesis 37:25 records that Ishmaelites came from Gilead carrying balm to Egypt. This prefigures the present reality:

  • Israel is spiritually in Egypt (Revelation 11:8, Lamentations 5:6), having left the Rock who brought them out
  • The Ishmaelites (Gentiles) possess the balm—the testimony of Jesus Christ, the Living Waters, and the truth about the one true GOD , having received the knowledge of GOD as the sea, and they are already in the Glorious REST. Isa.  11: 9-11. Then it is the gentiles who will show the Laodiceans where GOD ’s rest is and how to enter in.
  • God heard Ishmael’s cry and gave him water in the wilderness; now, in the day of the Lord, Gentiles receive Living Waters first.

God’s Promise to Ishmael

God promised Abraham that Ishmael would become a great nation with twelve princes (Genesis 17:20). Though Sarah cast him out without inheritance, God avenged this by:

  • Blessing Ishmael with Living Waters when he was dying of thirst
  • Making his descendants spiritually rich though physically poor (2 Corinthians 8:9, to inherit The LORD, Col 1: 27. )
  • Revealing to them that Jesus Christ the Lord is the Everlasting Father (Isaiah 63:16). This means the knowledge  of the true EVERLASTING FATHER should be given by gentiles to the Laodiceans who have other fathers.
  • Sanctifying them to receive the Spirit and Truth while Israel is in the final falling away (2 Thessalonians 2:13-14)

The Testimony of Jesus Christ: the Eye Salve

The Spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus Christ (Revelation 19:10). This testimony was confirmed in the Gentiles (1 Corinthians 1:5-7) so they would come behind in no gift, waiting for the Lord’s coming on the day of the Lord. This is why on the Day of THE LORD, when The LORD came , TO BE Glorified in the gentiles. 2 thes 1:8-12 while taking vengeance from those who did not believe Him who are the Laodiceans.

What the Testimony Reveals

  • There is only one God: “I am the first and the last; beside me there is no God” (Isaiah 44:6 and more ). That is CHRIST THE LORD.
  • Jesus Christ is that one God who appears throughout Scripture as the Rock, the Almighty, the Lord of Hosts, the Everlasting Father and all of the names of GOD  belongs to HIM in the whole volume of books.
  • No “god the father” exists separately; this teaching broke the covenant of the fathers (Malachi 2:10-11). No two gods. The ROCK bought , brought , begat and established Israel to HIM.
  • The Holy Spirit is Jesus CHRIST THE LORD and His words (John 6:63, 2 Cor. 3: 17, Acts 20: 28. The HOLY SPIRIT died to purchase the church is HE. ), which gives spirit and life. John 20: 22. And as the leaders taught, HOLY SPIRIT is not the power of GOD  but the words of CHRIST THE LORD which has power to create.

The Witnesses Called in Isaiah 43

God chose witnesses from among those who have no other gods (Isaiah 43:10-12): But v 21-22, Jacob has other gods. And the witnesses are called to witness of this One and ONLY TRUE GOD and not two gods. And two witnesses witness and tread down the holy city, Rev.  11, which is the church, for breaking the Covenant and the law. Heb. 10: 28. Broken Covenant and the law means they do not worship the GOD  who entered in to the Marriage Covenant who gave the law.

  • They are given understanding, knowledge, and belief that “I am He”—the one God
  • They are created for His glory and brought from the ends of the earth! V 5
  • They declare that “BEFORE ME THERE WAS NO GOD FORMED, NEITHER SHALL THERE BE AFTER ME”.
  • These witnesses are the sanctified ones ( 2 thes 2: 13- 14 by the Spirit and Truth ) sent to cause Israel to believe (John 17:17-20)
  • If Jacob has foreign gods, it is against him, The LORD will witness and it cannot be of anyone in Jacob !

Living Waters: The Spring That Heals

Jesus declared that believers in Him would have rivers of Living Water flowing from their bellies (John 7:38-39). This refers to the Holy Spirit, which was not given until Jesus was glorified. and He was Glorified, on the days of vengeance, which is the Day of THE LORD, the times of gentiles. 2 thes 1- 8-12, by the little one Isa.  60: 21- 22, when He came to take vengeance and also TO BE Glorified by the gentiles.

Why Israel Did Not Receive Living Waters

  • Jesus said, “You will seek me and not find me” (John 7:36)—Israel would be spiritually blind and unable to understand the truth about Him. Until they spiritually die in the Laodicea era.
  • Israel did not glorify Jesus Christ as God (Romans 1), so the Holy Spirit could not come to them. That is why He came TO BE Glorified in the gentiles, while taking vengeance. Therefore, The LORD’s words has come true. Israel could not find Him !
  • The fountain of Living Waters is Jesus Christ alone (Jeremiah 2:13); going to “god the father” means going to a non-existent source

The Gentiles as Wells of Salvation

  • Gentiles believed in Jesus Christ and received Living Waters (John 4:14). They are the believers. The whole village believed The LORD, which is a prophecy for us now, when the time has come to offer the living waters to all as the bellies of the believers are filled.
  • These waters become a well springing up into everlasting life within them. V 14
  • On the Last Great Day, when Israel is thirsty, they must drink from the bellies of believers—the Gentiles who already received the Spirit. they gentiles received the knowledge of GOD as the sea and entered in to the Glorious REST. Isa.  11:9-11.
  • This fulfills Isaiah 12 (wells of salvation) and makes Gentiles the springs of judgment that bring truth

The Knowledge and Understanding Jeremiah Prophesied

Jeremiah 3:15-22 describes God’s plan to heal Israel’s backsliding:

Pastors After God’s Own Heart

God promises to give pastors according to His heart who will feed Israel with knowledge and understanding (Jeremiah 3:15). This knowledge is:

  • That the Husband is also the Father—there is one God, not two
  • Israel must call the Husband “my Father” to return to Him (Jeremiah 3:19). Before He entered in to the Marriage Covenant in Sinai, HE WAS THE FATHER of Israel as He called them MY FIRST BORN. Exo. 4: 22-23 . Therefore, in order to return to Him , they must know that HE IS ONE GOD , THE FATHER and call Him so, because THE COMFORTER, means the FATHER.
  • The wife dealt treacherously by leaving her Husband and seeking other gods (Jeremiah 3:20). That means she thought that there is another father, as she has a god called god the father, a separate being who does not exist because The ROCK is their FATHER.

The Throne of the Lord

When this knowledge comes, Jerusalem will be called the throne of the Lord, and all nations will gather to His name (Jeremiah 3:17). The first fruits—those without fault before the throne—already have the Father’s name written on them (Revelation 14:1-5).

The Broken Everlasting Covenant

God made an everlasting covenant with Isaac and his seed (Genesis 17:19). Only Isaac’s descendants could break it—and they did (Isaiah 24:5):

  • They transgressed laws, changed ordinances, and worshiped other gods
  • The covenant of the fathers was broken by teaching two gods and two creators (Malachi 2:10-11)
  • This is why a new covenant is needed (Hebrews 8), made after God forgives and all know Him

The Curse and the Blessing

  • Those who obey the Lord receive blessing; those who disobey and follow other gods are cursed (Deuteronomy 11:26-28)
  • Israel did not obey the God of Abraham (Jesus CHRIST THE LORD, The ALMIGHTY ) and was cursed (Daniel 9:11)
  • Gentiles obeyed from the heart (Romans 6:17, 2 Cor. 10:5- 6 ) and received the blessing of Abraham, the HOLY SPIRIT, the promise of the FATHER  through Jesus Christ (Gal. 3, Eph. 1:13)

The Remnant: First Fruits Who Bear the Father’s Name

A remnant takes root downward and bears fruit upward (Isaiah 37:31-32). These are the children with whom the Lord of Hosts dwells in Mount Zion—a sign and wonder in Israel (Isaiah 8:18).

Characteristics of the Remnant

  • They are sanctified by truth and sent to cause others to believe (John 17:17-20)
  • They are the first fruits of Jesus Christ, having no guile and standing without fault before God’s throne (Reve 14:1-5, Eph. 1: 1-18, the ADOPTED or the GRAFTED ONES ).
  • They have their Father’s name written on them—they know Jesus Christ the Lord is the Father. Isa.  63: 16
  • They follow the Lamb wherever He goes and are not defiled by false teachings (the “women” or false churches, many sister churches)

Adoption as Sons

Gentiles were predestined for adoption as children by Jesus Christ to Himself (Ephesians 1:5). They were:

  • Enriched by Him in all utterance and knowledge (1 Cor.1:5). Understanding is given to them. Eph. 1: 18
  • Confirmed in the testimony of Christ (1 Corinthians 1:6-8)
  • Kept blameless on the day of the Lord
  • Sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise when they believed (Ephesians 1:13)

The Day of the Lord: Times of Gentiles

The day of the Lord is the Times of Gentiles (Ezekiel 30:3)—when God takes vengeance on Israel to ultimately accept her (Isaiah 61). During this time:

  • God’s glory comes from the east (Isaiah 59:19, Isaiah 60:3)
  • Gentiles bring light to Zion’s rising (Isaiah 60:1-3)
  • Kedar and Nebaioth (Ishmael’s sons) minister in God’s altar and glorify His house (Isaiah 60:7)
  • The clear lip to call on the Lord’s name is given to Gentiles in the Holy Mountain where no lies are spoken (Zephaniah 3:9-15)

The Hunters and Fishermen

God sends hunters and fishermen to bring Israel back (Jeremiah 16:15-16):

  • The fish are those with no ruler (Habakkuk 1:14)—spiritually leaderless because the King left (Jeremiah 8:19)
  • Gentiles, who have the Ruler (Jesus Christ), are sent to hunt Israel from every mountain and hill
  • They come to declare that Israel’s fathers inherited lies and vain things (Jeremiah 16:19-21)

Kadesh: Sanctification in the Wilderness

“Kadesh” means holy or set apart. Ishmael was sent to Kadesh and given water there (Genesis 16). This prefigures:

  • Gentiles being sanctified (set apart) by truth to believe in Jesus Christ first (2 Thessalonians 2:13-14)
  • Receiving the Spirit and Truth while the man of sin causes the final falling away in the temple
  • Being brought to the Holy Mountain, altar, and House of Prayer (Isaiah 56, Psalm 43:3-4)

Moses’ Blessing: Putting God’s Name on Israel

Numbers 6:22-27 records that priests must bless Israel in the Lord’s name, putting His name upon them. Only then will:

  • The Lord bless and keep them
  • His face shine upon them
  • He be gracious and give peace

Israel’s leaders never put Jesus Christ’s name on the people—they taught “god the father” instead. Therefore, Israel could not be blessed. The first fruits now have the Father’s name and can bless Israel as Moses did.

The Throne, the Branch, and the Bird

The recently discovered amethyst seal engraved with “balm of Gilead” depicts a bird and branch—found near the foundation stones of Jerusalem’s Western Wall.

Symbolism

  • The bird (dove) represents those who bring peace—the children taught by the Lord (Isaiah 54:13). Also who have the HOLY SPIRIT or the SPIRIT of the FATHER, The ROCK who gives the Spiritual.
  • The Branch is Christ and His children, who abide in Him and bear fruit (John 15).  Isa.  8: 18
  • Finding it at the foundation recalls that Jesus Christ is the Chief Cornerstone rejected by builders but accepted by Gentiles

The Camels of Kedar

Isaiah 60:6-8 prophesies that camels shall cover Zion, bringing gold and incense and showing forth the Lord’s praises. Though it’s easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom, with God all things are possible—even bringing camels (unclean Gentiles) into the kingdom.

Healing the Blindness: How the Eye Salve Works

The spiritually blind need:

  1. Truth about God’s identity: Jesus Christ the Lord is the one God—the Husband, the Father, the Rock, the Almighty
  2. Living Waters (Holy Spirit): The words of Jesus Christ, which are spirit and life (John 6:63). CHRIST THE LORD is LIFE. His words gives us life. That is why we are to live by Him and His words.
  3. White linen (righteousness): Comes from Jesus Christ the Righteous One, if He keeps us blameless before He. Deut. 32, The ROCK IS RIGHT and JUST.
  4. Covering for nakedness: The Holy Spirit and words of the Husband (Isaiah 30:1).

The Process

  • Gentiles, sanctified and given this knowledge, are sent as witnesses (John 17:17-20), so others can believe in CHRIST THE LORD.
  • They bring the testimony of Jesus Christ, declaring there is only one God
  • Israel hears and learns they have inherited lies and worshiped false gods, as gentiles are sent. Jer. 16: 19.
  • Acknowledgment of sin against Jesus Christ the Lord begins healing
  • Calling the Husband “my Father” completes the return (Jeremiah 3:22)

Conclusion: The Hope of Restoration

Though Israel broke the everlasting covenant and was judged with spiritual blindness, God’s plan is restoration, not destruction. The balm of Gilead—the knowledge of the one true God revealed through the testimony of sanctified Gentiles—is the divine remedy. When the spiritually blind Laodicean church receives this eye salve, understanding that Jesus Christ the Lord is both Husband and Father, she will:

  • Be healed of her spiritual sickness and backsliding
  • Receive white linen (righteousness) for the new covenant
  • Be clothed and covered by the Holy Spirit
  • Have her eyes opened to see and know her God
  • Receive Living Waters and eternal life
  • Be gathered to her true Husband and Father

The promise remains: “I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the Lord our God” (Jeremiah 3:22). Salvation, everlasting life, and spiritual sight come from knowing the one true God—Jesus Christ the Lord, the Everlasting Father—and this knowledge is the precious balm of Gilead that restores vision to the blind , preaching of JESUS CHRIST THE LORD , the GOD  of the whole HEAVEN AND EARTH! .

Summary :- EYE SALVE Part 2

Eye Salve 2: Understanding the Creator as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

Introduction

This writing proves the most fundamental yet misunderstood aspects of biblical doctrine: the identity of the Creator and the proper understanding of divine unity. ( the NATURE OF GOD ,  concept that God, the Godhead, is completely singular, indivisible, and uncomposed of separate beings). The text presents a comprehensive examination of how God called two nations from Abraham—Israel (through Isaac) and the Gentiles (through Ishmael)—to demonstrate His plan for blessing and redeeming all mankind. This writing proves  that Jesus Christ the Lord is the Everlasting Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—one God, not two or three separate beings.

Israel was chosen to receive physical blessings but faced spiritual death first due to disobedience and failure to worship the true God. They became vessels of wrath requiring judgment. Conversely, Gentiles were prepared as vessels of mercy to receive salvation first, demonstrating obedience to the God of Abraham—who is Jesus Christ the Lord, not “God the Father” as a separate entity.

Key theological terms are emphasized throughout:

  • The Rock: Jesus Christ the Lord, who provided spiritual food and drink to Israel
  • The Almighty: Jesus Christ the Lord (Revelation 1:8), not a separate “God the Father”
  • The Everlasting Father: Jesus Christ the Lord (Isaiah 9:6, Isa.  63:16)
  • The Living God: Jesus Christ the Lord, who spoke directly to Israel
  • Kadesh, Paran, and Petra: Locations with both historical and prophetic significance, where judgment and salvation intersect

The Two Covenants and Two Nations

Abraham’s Dual Heritage

God established two distinct covenants with Abraham, prophetically representing two paths for humanity. The first covenant, made by promise (unconditional, based on grace), was designed to save all mankind and would come into effect after Israel’s covenant was broken (Galatians 3:17). This covenant required no works and offered free gifts of salvation. The second covenant, established through the law (conditional, based on works), was given to Israel through Moses 430 years later. Gal. 3 says to Israel, the law. And to gentiles, faith in The LORD’s second coming.

  • Isaac’s descendants received the Everlasting Covenant through the law, designed to reveal sin and humanity’s inability to achieve righteousness through works
  • Ishmael’s descendants represented those who would receive salvation by faith alone, without the law’s requirements
  • Both Ishmael and Abraham were circumcised on the same day, symbolizing that both bloodlines would ultimately share in Abraham’s spiritual blessings

This dual structure was intentional: mankind needed to prove whether righteousness could be achieved through law-keeping or not . Israel’s failure under the law demonstrated that all have sinned and that salvation must come through faith in Jesus Christ the Lord, not through human effort.

The Purpose of Two Nations

From Isaac came the vessels of wrath—those ordained for judgment and correction to expose mankind’s sinful nature. From Ishmael came the vessels of mercy—those prepared to receive grace first and become judges of those under the law. This division was not arbitrary but served God’s redemptive purpose:

  • Israel would exalt themselves, become sons of disobedience, and face cursing for breaking covenant
  • Gentiles would demonstrate obedience to Jesus Christ the Lord and fulfill their calling for the glory of His grace
  • The pattern established in the wilderness—where Ishmael received water before Israel entered Canaan—foreshadows the end-time reality where Gentiles receive Living Waters (the Holy Spirit and truth) before Israel’s restoration

All Scripture written about these two nations will be fulfilled during the days of vengeance, when judgment falls particularly on Israel (those under the law). That is why 2 thes 1:8-12. The LORD came to be Glorified and to take vengeance. God’s own finger wrote the law, and that same finger executes judgment according to the law’s standards. (luk 11: 19-20)

The Identity Crisis: Who Is God?

The Fatal Error of Church Leadership

The central spiritual crisis facing the church involves a fundamental misidentification of God. Two  church leaders—Herbert W. Armstrong (HWA) and Gerald Flurry (GF)—taught a doctrine of two Gods: Jesus Christ as “the Son” and a separate being called “God the Father” as supreme over CHRIST THE LORD . This teaching directly contradicts Scripture and constitutes the abomination of desolation that leaves the temple spiritually empty. The city of Jerusalem, could not be gathered to her true GOD . Zion , is cast down to earth. Lam 2. They lost their crowns. The son went to perdition with the rest.

Gerald Flurry explicitly wrote: “Jesus Christ has many names: One of His names is the EVERLASTING FATHER. Jesus Christ is A TYPE of God the Father… But we must NEVER FORGET THAT HE IS THE SON, NOT THE FATHER.”. He directly spoke against Isa.  9: 6, even quoting that Scripture. Total denial of the GOD  of Israel, who is The ROCK who said that HE BEGAT THEM. Deut. 32.

This statement reveals several critical errors:

  • It reduces Jesus Christ to merely a “type” of another God, rather than being God Himself
  • It denies Isaiah 9:6, which explicitly names Jesus as “the Everlasting Father”
  • It creates a theological hierarchy where Jesus has “a position in God’s plan” rather than being the Creator and Author of the plan
  • It violates the first commandment: “You shall have no other gods before Me” (Exodus 20:3)

The consequence? No one in the church actually worshiped the God of Israel, because they directed their worship toward a non-existent “God the Father” instead of toward Jesus Christ the Lord, who is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

The Rock as Father

Scripture repeatedly identifies the Rock who led Israel as their Father:

  • Exodus 4:22-23: “Israel is My son, even My firstborn… Let My son go, that he may serve Me“
  • The God who spoke these words  to give the Spiritual meat and drink was the Rock (1 Corinthians 10:3-4), who was Christ
  • Deuteronomy 32:6, 15, 18 rebukes Israel for forsaking “the Rock” and “the God who fathered you”

If the Rock who led Israel out of Egypt said “Israel is My firstborn son,” then the Rock is Israel’s Father. That Rock was Jesus Christ the Lord. Therefore, to worship the God of Israel means to worship Jesus Christ the Lord as Father, not to seek some other deity called “God the Father.”

Israel’s fundamental sin was not recognizing their Father. They failed to serve Him, honor Him, or fear Him as Father (Malachi 1:6). This failure meant they never became true sons of God because they never acknowledged their true Father.

Kadesh, Paran, and Petra: Prophetic Geography

Kadesh: The Place of Sanctification

Kadesh means “holy” or “sanctified.” It became a pivotal location in Israel’s wilderness journey, where:

  • God tested Israel’s faith and obedience
  • Miriam and Aaron died for their rebellion
  • The entire generation (except Caleb and Joshua) was condemned to die in the wilderness for unbelief
  • Moses struck the rock to bring forth water (the “water of Meribah” meaning “strife”)

Kadesh was also called En-mishpat (“spring of judgment”), indicating its prophetic significance. It represents the place where judgment springs forth—where God separates the righteous from the wicked, those who serve Him from those who do not (Malachi 3:18).

Spiritually, Kadesh represents the Sanctuary where judgment begins. Those who serve in God’s Sanctuary must be sanctified—set apart and holy. In the end times, this corresponds to the little children and Gentiles who have been sanctified by the Spirit and Truth (2 Thessalonians 2:13-14) to serve as judges.

Kadesh-Barnea: The Wandering Sons

When Israel rebelled at Kadesh, the name became Kadesh-barnea. The word “barnea” comes from “bar” (son) and “nua” (to waver, wander, or be a fugitive). Thus Kadesh-barnea means “the sanctified place of the wandering sons”—those who lost their holiness through rebellion.

This transformation from Kadesh to Kadesh-barnea symbolizes what happened to God’s people:

  • They began in a holy state, called to be sanctified
  • Through rebellion against the Rock (refusing to believe or obey), they became “sons of disobedience”
  • They wandered spiritually, never entering God’s rest, dying in the wilderness
  • Their sanctification was lost because they rejected the Holy One

Today, the church finds itself spiritually at Kadesh-barnea—wandering in spiritual blindness, unable to enter God’s rest because of unbelief (Hebrews 3:12, 19). Like wandering stars (Jude 1:13), they have no fixed position, having rejected the anchor of truth.

Paran: Where God Dwells with the Outcasts

Paran means “full of caverns” or decorated with carved-out places. It became Ishmael’s home after Sarah cast him out (Genesis 21:21). Significantly:

  • God was with Ishmael in Paran (Genesis 21:20)
  • Paran bordered Arabia, ancestral home of the Arabs (Ishmael’s descendants)
  • The mountain of God was known to Jethro, before Moses was called.
  • A priest of God (Jethro/Reuel) served God in this region, teaching Moses about judgment and righteousness

Prophetically, Habakkuk 3:3 declares: “God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran… His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of His praise.”

This means in judgment, God comes FROM Paran—from among the Gentiles, not from Jerusalem. He comes with saints (holy ones) who are already with Him in Paran. These are the ones who:

  • Have not changed their God (like Kedar, Ishmael’s son – Jeremiah 2:10-11)
  • Drank from the well of the Living One (Beer-lahai-roi)
  • Were brought to God’s holy mountain (Isaiah 56:6-7)
  • Serve in God’s altar and house (Isaiah 60:7)

Petra: Where Death and Resurrection Meet

Petra (meaning “rock”) is traditionally identified with Kadesh and the wilderness of Paran. Historically, this is where:

  • The entire adult generation of Israel died over 38 years
  • Only the little ones survived to enter the Promised Land
  • Israel was buried, creating a “city of tombs” carved into rock

Spiritually, Petra represents where old Israel dies and new Israel is born. The pattern established physically is fulfilled spiritually:

  • The “elders” (church leadership teaching false doctrine) must die spiritually, as they rejected The ROCK.
  • The little children (those taught directly by Jesus Christ – 1 John 2:27) survive and enter the Promised Land
  • Death in Petra is not final—it precedes resurrection when the blind have their eyes opened

The Eye Salve: Knowledge of the True God

The Nature of Laodicean Blindness

Revelation 3:18 counsels the Laodicean church to “anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.” This blindness is not physical but spiritual—an inability to perceive spiritual knowledge  . Specifically, Laodicean blindness consists of:

  • Not knowing the true identity of God: Worshiping “God the Father” instead of recognizing Jesus Christ as the Everlasting Father
  • Having no covering: Lacking the Holy Spirit because they never went to Jesus Christ the Lord to receive it
  • Spiritual poverty: Being spiritually bankrupt despite physical wealth

The eye salve required is the truth about God’s identity—the knowledge that Jesus Christ the Lord is the One and Only True God, the Creator, the Everlasting Father, the Almighty. This knowledge:

  • Comes directly from Jesus Christ when He appears the second time (1 John 5:20, Isa.  11; 9- 11, John 16: 25 , )
  • Was given first to Gentiles (little children) who believed and were sealed with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13), who are with Him in the Holy Mountain, Isa.  8: 18, to be a sign and a wonder in Israel ,
  • Must now be delivered to blind Israel through those whose eyes have been opened

The Balm of Gilead

Jeremiah 8:22 asks: “Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? Why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?”

The balm of Gilead represents the healing medicine needed for spiritual sickness. This balm is:

  • The knowledge of God—understanding that Jesus Christ the Lord is the Everlasting Father, Husband, and only true GOD .
  • The Living Water that flows from the Rock (Jesus Christ)
  • The word of truth that cleanses, sanctifies, and sets free (John 17:17; Ephesians 5:26)

Gilead was traditionally associated with  Gentiles of Ishmael  . The fact that Israel must seek the balm from Gilead indicates they must receive healing truth from those outside their own leaders—from the Gentiles who have already received the Spirit and truth.

The Process of Healing

Healing comes through several stages:

  • Washing: The word of truth cleanses and exposes lies (John 15:3)
  • Anointing: The Holy Spirit opens eyes to see spiritual reality. It is freely given, but by the bellies of the believers, which means those who have received the Spirit and Truth already.
  • Teaching: Pastors “after God’s own heart” give knowledge and understanding  that The Husband is also the FATHER (Jeremiah 3:15).
  • Returning: The wife returns to the Husband, calling Him “my Father” (Jeremiah 3:19)
  • Covenant renewal: A new covenant is established where “all shall know Me” (Hebrews 8:11)

The medicine cannot come from human doctors or church leaders who themselves are sick. It must come from the Physician—Jesus Christ the Lord—through those whom He has already healed and taught.

The Royal Priesthood: Ministers of Truth

The More Excellent Ministry

Hebrews 8:6 declares that Christ “has obtained a more excellent ministry” as mediator of a better covenant. This ministry is not the Levitical priesthood, which failed, but a new priesthood:

  • Composed of those not of God’s people originally (1 Peter 2:9-10)
  • Made into a royal priesthood and holy nation
  • Taken from darkness into light to proclaim God’s praises
  • Given the responsibility to establish the truth (Romans 16:25) of PREACHING CHRIST THE LORD !

This ministry was prepared by:

  • Sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth (2 Thessalonians 2:13-14)
  • Direct teaching from Jesus Christ without human intermediaries (1 John 2:27)
  • Forgiveness for His name’s sake (1 John 2:12)
  • Adoption as sons into God’s family (Ephesians 1:5, Heb. 2: 10)
  • Sealing with the Holy Spirit upon believing the word of truth (Ephesians 1:13)

Witnesses in the Mountain

Isaiah 8:18 prophesies: “Behold, I and the children whom the LORD has given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwells in mount Zion.”

These children given to Jesus Christ are:

  • In the mountain where the Father is worshiped in Spirit and truth (John 4:23)
  • A sign and wonder in Israel—something unexpected and marvelous to PROVE THE TRUE GOD  AND HIS SONS.
  • Zep. 3: no lies spoken in this mountain, nor deceit, on the Day of THE LORD, which is the times of gentiles, Eze. 30: 3, and GOD  is in the midst, with His love.
  • Isa.  11:9-11… when the gentiles seek GOD , it is time for the Glorious REST !
  • With the Lord of Hosts (Jesus Christ the Lord)
  • Sanctifying the Lord of Hosts in their hearts (Isaiah 8:13; 1 Peter 3:15) and it is these children who sanctified Him Isa.  29: 23. The LORD OF HOSTS is the FATHER of all kings.  2 sam 7: 14

When Israel sees these children—Gentiles who have found the Everlasting Father while Israel did not acknowledge them—it will open their eyes. The fact that strangers worship the God of Israel while Israel worships a false god will provoke Israel to jealousy (Romans 11:11, Deut. 32: 43 ).

The Heavenly Vision

Acts 26:17-19 records the “heavenly vision” given to Paul, which reveals God’s end-time plan to :

  • Deliver the apostle Paul from the people (Israel) and send them to the Gentiles.
  • Open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light. (Royal Priesthood)
  • Turn them from the power of Satan to God
  • That they may receive forgiveness of sins
  • And inheritance among those sanctified by faith in Jesus Christ

This vision is fulfilled in the end times when:

  • Gentiles received the knowledge of God (Isaiah 11:9-11)
  • Their eyes are opened to see Jesus Christ as the Everlasting Father. Isa.  63: 16 , Eph. 1,
  • They are delivered from false gods (the power of Satan) to the true God
  • They receive full forgiveness and are adopted as sons
  • They become heirs through faith, not through law-keeping. Law is not of faith. Gal. 3. Faith was shut up to the law.

Conclusion: All Becoming One in the Creator

The Ultimate Purpose

God’s ultimate purpose is to make all mankind one in the Creator. The division between Jew and Gentile, Isaac and Ishmael, was always temporary—designed to demonstrate God’s justice and mercy. The conclusion of this divine plan involves:

  • Israel’s eyes being opened to see they forsook their true God and Father, as any man under Adam would do.
  • Repentance when they see the balm of Gilead was in the hands of those whom they rejected and cast out as slaves and dogs.
  • Reunification under the one true God—Jesus Christ the Lord
  • Entering the new covenant where all know Him (Hebrews 8:11)
  • Worshiping the Father in Spirit and truth (John 4:23-24). That means all would be gathered to the FATHER. And one should be gathered to JESUS CHRIST THE LORD . Mat 12: 30. If not, they are the enemies. This is why the ministry in the Philadelphia era became His enemies and anti- Christs. (not anti- god)

The Knowledge That Sets Free

The core revelation—the eye salve that heals all spiritual blindness—is understanding that:

Jesus Christ the Lord is:

  • The Creator who made all things by Himself and for Himself
  • The Father (the Everlasting Father who gives eternal life)
  • The Son (who came to earth in flesh)
  • The Holy Spirit (the Spirit of Truth who returns to teach all things)
  • One God—not two, not three, but ONE

This knowledge:

  • Fulfills the first commandment (“no other gods before Me”)
  • Provides everlasting life (John 17:3—knowing the only true God)
  • Sets free from lies and traditions of men
  • Enables true worship in Spirit and truth
  • Resurrects the spiritually dead who call on the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Luke 20:37-38)

As it was in the beginning with Abraham, Isaac, Ishmael, and the priest Jethro in Midian, so it is now: there are those outside Israel’s camp who know and worship the God of Israel, while Israel itself has lost knowledge of their God. Not even Abraham knew who would know that The Redeemer is the EVERLASTING FATHER. Isa.  63: 16. But God’s promise stands—He will restore, heal, and gather all into one body, one faith, one Father, one Lord over all.

The journey from Kadesh to the Promised Land, from judgment to mercy, from death to life, is the journey every human must take. And it begins with receiving the eye salve—the true knowledge of God—, the Testimony of CHRIST THE LORD, which is to PROVE AND WITNESS THAT HE IS THE One and ONLY TRUE GOD AND HIS WORDS ARE THE TRUTH, so that all may see and know: Jesus Christ the Lord is the Everlasting Father, the One and Only True God, and Everlasting Life.
