Introduction

God is only waiting to be merciful to the repentants, He will forget that they had sinned, He is fighting to save them and they should hearken to their God!

HOSEA CHAPTERS 13, 14

(Explained in short)

HOSEA 13---

"1 ---When Ephraim spake trembling, he exalted himself in Israel; but when he offended in Baal, he died.

LEADERS EXALTED, THEN THEY SPIRITUALLY DIED WHEN FALSE WORSHIP HAPPENED!

Da 11:32 "Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.

When the wicked corrupt with exalting and flattery---the people who know their God, the witnesses of God will carry out great exploits!

2Ch 28:23-- For he sacrificed unto the gods of Damascus, ---

They were the ruin of him, and of all Israel.

Isa 7:8 --For the head of Syria is Damascus, And the head of Damascus is Rezin. Within sixty–five years Ephraim will be broken, So that it will not be a people.

Hos. 12: 1 --- Ephraim feedeth on wind,--- made a covenant with the Assyrians, and oil is carried into Egypt.

Hos. 13: 2 And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver, [and] idols according to their own understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen: they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.

They sinned, went back to Egypt (Isaiah 30: 1,2—31:1,2), their silver is their words (God's silver is His words –Ps. 12: 6), ---the church has worked according to their own understanding, and not using God's silver! ---They attributed the power as H W Armstrong restoring everything, and are raising his ruins---thus kissing the calves!

Ps. 12: 6-- The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. (The craftsmen of God's silver are those of Tarshish who has blue and purple—Jeremiah 10: 9)

Ho 4:12 ---My people ask counsel from their wooden idols, And their staff informs them----Ho 5:4 "They do not direct their deeds Toward turning to their God, For the spirit of harlotry is in their midst, And they do not know the LORD.

BUT THIS ABOMINATION WILL BE CORRECTED---IN THAT DAY----

Jer 50:4 "In those days and in that time," says the LORD, "The children of Israel shall come, They and the children of Judah together; With continual weeping they shall come, And seek the LORD their God.

Eze 11:20 "that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

Eze 14:11 "that the house of Israel may no longer stray from Me, nor be profaned anymore with all their transgressions, but that they may be My people and I may be their God," says the Lord GOD.'"

Ho 3:5--- Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They shall fear the LORD and His goodness in the latter days.

Eze 37:27 "My tabernacle also shall be with them; indeed I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

Eze 39:22 "So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day forward.

Eze 39:28 'then they shall know that I am the LORD their God, who sent them into captivity among the nations, but also brought them back to their land, and left none of them captive any longer.

GOD sent them into captivity---and brought them back---

When God sends them into captivity----those others who hold them in captivity will know that! –THAT IS HOW WE KNOW---GOD LET US KNOW WHEN THE CAPTIVES ARE SENT TO US!

Surely God tells us WHEN THE CAPTIVES COME TO US! WE HAVE TO BE PREPARED!

Hos. 13: 3 Therefore they shall be as the morning cloud, and as the early dew that passeth away, as the chaff [that] is driven with the whirlwind out of the floor, and as the smoke out of the chimney. 4 Yet I [am] the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but Me: for [there is] no saviour beside Me."

See---when they sin they go to Egypt!

The Revelations of church passed away as a morning cloud—and as dew! –Why? ----Because they sinned against their God by making an image---a calf---and kissing the calf!

NOW---they are in Egypt---they have to be brought back from Egypt! ---NOW THE LORD IS WORKING FROM EGYPT!

Isaiah 30: 1,2 ---31: 1,2---

They did not return through repentance when they sinned—

Ho 7:10- And the pride of Israel testifies to his face, But they do not return to the LORD their God, Nor seek Him for all this.

Hos. 13: "9 --- O Israel, thou hast destroyed thyself; but in Me [is] thine help. 10 I will be thy king: where [is any other] that may save thee in all thy cities? and thy judges of whom thou saidst, Give me a king and princes? 11 I gave thee a king in Mine anger, and took [him] away in My wrath. ---

Ps. 74: 9 happened.

Joe 2:17 --Let the priests, who minister to the LORD, Weep between the porch and the altar; Let them say, "Spare Your people, O LORD, And do not give Your heritage to reproach, That the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, 'Where is their God?'"

CHURCH WILL HAVE LABOR PAINS

HOS; 13: 12 The iniquity of Ephraim [is] bound up; his sin [is] hid. 13 The sorrows of a travailing woman shall come upon him: he [is] an unwise son; for he should not stay long in [the place of] the breaking forth of children.

JESUS CHRIST HAS TO INTERVENE TO HELP HER! ---OTHERWISE SHE WILL BE TOTALLY DESTROYED! She cannot deliver herself!

HOS 13: 14 I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.

Zep 2:7 --The coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed their flocks there; In the houses of Ashkelon they shall lie down at evening. For the LORD their God will intervene for them, And return their captives.

The coastlands shall feed them---but in the evening---night—they the Israel shall lie down in false god's houses! ---BUT THE LORD WILL INTERVENE AND CAUSE THEM TO RETURN FROM CAPTIVITY!

The food that is sent while they are in captivity, in wilderness is the food of the LORD to save them from the power of the grave!

God will work against His people dying forever------He will redeem them from death---GOD IS SENDING PLAGUES FOR THE DEATH TO DIE—TO DESTROY THE GRAVE---HE WILL DO IT—HE WILL NOT REPENT OF NOT DOING IT—WHICH MEANS HE WILL WORK AGAINST DEATH---HE IS ANGRY—HE IS WRATH THAT HIS WIFE IS TAKEN TO THE GRAVE BY THE DEVIL! ---GOD ALONE CAN DESTROY DEATH TO SAVE HIS WIFE---HE IS FIGHTING IN A RAGE!

GOD WILL MAKE THEM JEWELS—

Zec 9:16 --The LORD their God will save them in that day, As the flock of His people. For they shall be like the jewels of a crown, Lifted like a banner over His land––

THE LORD WILL STRI UP THE SPIRIT OF JOSHUA ---through the spirit of Zerubbabel, which is to restore the church!

Hag 1:14- So the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest,

Hag 1:12-- Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him; and the people feared the presence of the LORD.

Zec 8:8 --I will bring them back, And they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. They shall be My people And I will be their God, In truth and righteousness.

THE MERCIFUL LORD WILL FORGET THAT

HE HAD PUT THEM ASIDE!

Zec 10:6 "I will strengthen the house of Judah, And I will save the house of Joseph. I will bring them back, Because I have mercy on them. They shall be as though I had not cast them aside; For I am the LORD their God, And I will hear them.

HIS MERCY ENDURES FOREVER!

Hos. 13: "5 --- I did know thee in the wilderness, in the land of great drought. 6 According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten me. 7 Therefore I will be unto them as a lion: as a leopard by the way will I observe [them]: 8 I will meet them as a bear [that is] bereaved [of her whelps], and will rend the caul of their heart, and there will I devour them like a lion: the wild beast shall tear them."

GOD DID NOT FORGET THEM IN THEIR CAPTIVITY---HE WAS WORKING TO SAVE HER----the Israel children of God were sent to wilderness as they forgot GOD when they got a lot of Revelations from GOD and started exalting themselves!

THAT IS WORKING AGAINST GOD—AN FOR THAT REASON THEY SHOULD DIE ACCORDING TO GOD'S LAW—BUT THE MERCIFULLOR GOD WOULD DO ANYTHINGTO SAVE HER FROM DYIN SPIRITUALLY----HE WAS WATCHING LIKE A LION, LEOPARD OR A SHE-BEAR WHOSE BABY BEARS WERE TAKEN—AS A WILD BEAR GOD WILL WATCH OVER THEM! ---HE IS VERY ANGRY WITH THE DSTROYERS OF GOD'S CHURCH!

2Co 6:16- and what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people."

HOS. 13: 15 Though he be fruitful among [his] brethren, an east wind shall come, the wind of the LORD shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall spoil the treasure of all pleasant vessels.

ALLTHOUGH THE CHURCH GOT Revelations earlier---after the transgression ---GOD WILL SEND THE EAST WIND FROM THE COASTLANDS ---from the wilderness (Revelation 12: 14 wilderness where the church is protected from the devil—it is the east wind that will protect them, even though it is sent from THE LORD IN HIS WRATH!)

Hos 13: 16 Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up." (Ho 13:1-16 AV)

1Ki 13:32 "For the saying which he cried out by the word of the LORD against the altar in Bethel, and against all the shrines on the high places which are in the cities of Samaria, will surely come to pass."

1Ki 16:32- Then he set up an altar for Baal in the temple of Baal, which he had built in Samaria.

1Ki 18:2- So Elijah went to present himself to Ahab; and there was a severe famine in Samaria.

THE CHURCH---which is as Bethel is compared to be in Samaria instead of Jerusalem ---it was prophesise to happen—and like the famine of Samaria, the CHURCH TOO HAS A FAMINE OF THE WORD!

HOSEA 14---

The LORD is calling HIS CHILDREN TO RETURN TO HIM! –LISTEN TO HIM—HE TESTIFIES THAT YOU ARE FALLEN!

"1 - O Israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity. 2 Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto Him, Take away all iniquity, and receive [us] graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips. 3 Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, [Ye are] our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy."

PCG HAS TO RETURN TO THE LORD, THEIR MAKER AND THEIR GOD—THEY HAVE TO FORGET H W Armstrong, THE RAISED RUINS OF H W Armstrong AND HIS VISIONS WHICH HAVE FAILED TO COME TO PASS AS THEY ARE NOT BIBLICAL!

PCG—and all Israel ---speak up—tell YOUR GOD TO TAKE AWAY YOUR INIQUITY---tell HIM TO RECEIVE YOU GRACIOUSY! Tell Him that you will leave all what you say about calves—tell HIM that no god can save you OTHER THAN YOU GOD!!

TELL HIM---THAT YOU WILL FORGET other gods—AND THAT YOU WILL NOT FIGHT ON HORSES ANYMORE! ---tell HIM that you will be not like Pharaoh's horses!

Tell also that you will not consider your work as your gods---

WHY? ---Now God is hiding from you and you are like fatherless—THEREFORE WHEN YOU REPENT---YOU WILL FIND MERCY IN HIM, as a fatherless would find mercy!

Hos. 14; "4 -- I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for Mine anger is turned away from him. 5 I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon. 6 His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon. 7 They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive [as] the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof [shall be] as the wine of Lebanon."

GOD IS ONLY WAITING FOR THE REPENTANCE OF HIS PEOPLE—AND HE WILL IMMEDIATELY START BLESSING THEM!

De 32:39 'Now see that I, even I, am He, And there is no God besides Me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; Nor is there any who can deliver from My hand.

Now the church leaders have lost being like the cedars of Lebanon ---but IT WILL BE RESTORED AS STATED IN THE ABOVE VERSE.

IT WAS CAST OFF EARLIER---AS IN Isaiah 7 AND 8

SPIRITUALLY THE CEDARS OF LEBANON ---in Isaiah 7, and 8 --ARE LIKENED TO THE RULING OF DAMASCUS!---

SO ISRAEL NEEDS HEALING!

HOS. 14: "8 --- Ephraim [shall say], What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard [him], and observed him: I [am] like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found. 9 Who [is] wise, and he shall understand these [things]? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD [are] right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein." (Ho 14:1-9 AV)

WHEN EPHRAIM UNDERSTANDS THAT THEY HAD BEEN SINNING AGAINST GOD AND THEN REPENT BY REMOVING ALL WRONG WORKS OF THEIR HANDS---THE CHURCH WILL UNDERSTAND THAT THEY WILL PROSPER LIKE A GREEN FIR TREE!---THEY WILL KNOW THAT THE LORD IS RIGHTEOUS!

When the book of Hosea ends---Joel starts—he has to say in chapter one that the worms---catter pillars, palmerworm--- had destroyed the land of God. When some people ate and went the others came and destroyed---likewise it is destroyed and these are none other than priests!

Because of that the priests will not be given new wine—vs. 5---it is cut off from them---so they have to howl and fast and repent!

Joel 1: 13 -Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God.

14 -- Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD,

15 --Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand

THE DAY OF THE LORD IS HERE—AS Ezekiel 30: 3---DURING THE DAY OF THE LORD YOU FIND THE SERVANTS OF THE LORD GENTILES ARE WORKING AS IT IS THEIR TIME!---Revelation 11: 2

BECAUSE THEIR DAYS ARE NUMBERED WE KNOW THAT IT IS THE END OF THEIR WORK---SO IT IS THE DAY OF THE LORD!

Joel 1: 5 -Awake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth.

Mt 9:17 "Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins break, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved."

LK. 5: 38 "But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved.

THE OLD WINE SKINS MUST RENEW---BY REPENTING AND RETURNING TO THE LORD! THEN THIS NEW WINE CAN BE FILLED IN TO THE OLD BOTTLES!

LK 5: 39---"And no one, having drunk old wine, immediately desires new; for he says, 'The old is better.'"

NOT IMMEDIATELY –BUT LATER!

YOU HAD BEEN SAYING THAT THE OLD IS BETTER AND CONDEMNING THE WORK OF THE WITNESSES AS PERVERTING THE DOCTRINES-----

But examine well and see---we gentiles speak of the new wine direct from the word of God---the WORDS are sent by THE WORD OF GOD---we are silver smiths—we have blue and purple---which is the ministry.

Ex 39:1-- Of the blue, purple, and scarlet thread they made garments of ministry, for ministering in the holy place,

GOD HAS GIVEN US NEW WINE AND WE EMPTY THEM INTO YOUR BOTTLES---

Although you did not immediately desire for the new wine----NOW IT IS TIME TO MAKE YOUR BOTTLES NEW AND FILL YOUR BOTTLES WITH THE NEW WINE OF GOD!

LEARN NOT TO DENY CHRIST---BUT TO LOVE YOUR ONLY GOD—THE TRUE GOD—REPENT AND TURN TO HIM FASTING AND PRAYING—HE IS WAITING FOR YOU TO TURN TO HIM---AS YOU OPEN YOUR EYES AND SEE THE TRUTH—MARVELOUS THINGS WILL HAPPEN!

Mic. 7: 18-- Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He retaineth not His anger for ever, because He delighteth in mercy.

Mic. 7: 19-- He will turn again, He will have compassion upon us; He will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

20-- Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

Tit 3:4-9

"4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7 That being justified by His grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. 8 [This is] a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

9 -- But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain."

DO NOT WORK ON THE UNPROFITABLE THINGS!

2Th 3:5 --Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.

3-- But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.

4--- And we have confidence in the Lord concerning you, both that you do and will do the things we command you.

THE WORK OF THE WITNESSES EXHORTS YOU TO REPENT AND TURN TO THE LORD GOD OF THE WHOLE EARTH.

Pro 21:8, 10—13------- The way of man is froward and strange: but as for the pure, his work is right. ----The soul of the wicked desireth evil: his neighbour findeth no favour in his eyes. -----When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise: and when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge. ----The righteous man wisely considereth the house of the wicked: but God overthroweth the wicked for their wickedness.------Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.

Isa 54:5-- For your Maker is your husband, The LORD of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth.
